Privacy Policy
Plain-language privacy terms for a staged, pre-launch site.
Last updated: October 2026. HackedWire is currently a staged, pre-launch publication. This policy describes what the site does today and will be updated before launch when analytics, newsletter, and advertising systems are configured.
What we collect
- Browsing: this static site sets no cookies and runs no analytics at this stage. Standard web-server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) may be recorded by our hosting provider for security and operations.
- Newsletter signup: the signup forms on this site are structure only — they do not transmit or store your email address until a newsletter provider is configured at launch.
- Email: if you write to us, we receive whatever you send. Do not send sensitive personal information by plain email; see our secure-contact guidance.
What we don’t do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. Sponsored placements never come with reader data.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you and ask us to delete it by writing to tips@hackedwire.com.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be noted here with a new last-updated date before they take effect.
